| Students who are learning how to write need A LOT of practice. My students love the printing contest that is held about once a month in our class. I type up something that inlcudes what we are learning about. During workshop, students copy it, doing their best work! |

| Students write their number on the back and turn it in. At the end of the week, we line up the papers. I write a letter on each paper (A-Z, depending on how many students you have) and students vote on their favorite. Each student gets a small piece of paper to write the letter of their favorite paper. This has been a huge success and printing has improved. This is also a great activity to do during Back to School Night or Open House. Instead of the students voting, the parents get to! |
